Vitek - technology for life serving Russians
Vitek is household technology and electronics which combine the newest technology in the area of construction and production, European quality and reliability with unique design, its own recognizable style and advantageous price. Vitek International
Vitek International - is an international group of companies, which are involved in the development and distribution of Vitek products in the markets of European countries. Members of the Vitek International Group include the Austrian company "An-Der Products GMBH" (headquarters in Vienna), the Russian company "Golder Electronics" (head office located in Moscow) and also offices in the countries of the CIS, Europe and Asia.
Vitek in Russia
The leading supplier of household electronics, the company "Golder-Electronics" was created in 1993 and specialized on promoting various European brands on the Russian market. IN 1999 the company decided to focus its accumulated experience, knowledge and resources to develop in introduce a new brand of household technology. The new brand should include European quality, clear individuality, new technologies, and fully correspond to the expectations of consumers.
To assist in the development of a concept for a new brand, the Austrian company "An-Der Products GMBH" was employed, a European expert in the area of household electronics. The experience in the area of new technologies of the Austrian developer supplemented the marketing and distribution competency of the Russian distributor. The merchandise line policy for the new technology was distinguished by novelty and democracy: the application of the newest technological solutions and best world achievements in the production of household technology, stylish, elegant design and European quality. The brand concept was reflected in the name: "VITEK" is a synthesis of the Latin words Vita-life and Technik - technology.
The introduction of the new class of technology from Vitek reflected the trends of the contemporary Russian market and the preferences of the emerging middle class in the country, which lead to its success.
Vitek Today
Since the Russian premier of Vitek in 2000, the products of Vitek have taken their place in the consciousness of Russian consumers as technology which are characterized, first of all by their orientation to the needs of consumers. Thanks to the acknowledgment of millions of Russian users who chose Vitek products and continue to remain true to this brand, today the Vitek brand occupies on the leading positions in the Russian market of household technology and electronics.
Today in the Vitek product line - there are already more than 550 contemporary models of audio-, video- and household technology in 54 product categories. The broad and diverse Vitek product line allows for satisfying the needs and tastes of a maximally large number of consumers.

2001 - 2004 The company expanded its distributor network in Russian and the countries of the CIS, concluding partnership agreements with the largest retain chains: "Technosila", "M. 2002Vitek received the award "Product of the year - 2002".
2003Vitek received the award "Effie-Brand of the Year 2003".
2003 - 2004 The market share of the VITEK brand in 2004 was 10%. According to research conducted by the GFK Rus marketing company, the market share of VITEK for individual categories of household technology was 12%.
2004 Vitek received the award "Effie-Brand of the Year 2004". The Company Vitek International strengthed its position in the market. The VITEK brand is one of the most dynamically developing brands of household technology in the Russian market: annual VITEK product sales volume on the territory of Russia increased more than 50%. The brand awareness of VITEK to Russian consumers is 36,1% (TNS Gallup Media, 2004).
